Terms and conditions for activities, excursions and transport - ReadySetIsland AS

These terms and conditions apply to all activities, excursions and transport services booked through ReadySetIsland AS, where the implementation takes place in collaboration with local suppliers in Bali and surrounding islands.

1. Parties to the agreement and division of roles

ReadySetIsland AS acts as a mediator and coordinator of services provided by independent, local partners.

The individual activities and transport services are carried out by local suppliers , who are responsible for:

  • practical implementation
  • vehicles, vessels and equipment
  • security and necessary permits

When ordering, the customer accepts that local terms, instructions and safety rules must be followed.

2. Ordering and payment

An order is considered binding when the customer has received written confirmation from ReadySetIsland AS.

For certain activities and transport services:

  • full payment required at time of booking
  • payment be non-refundable, in whole or in part

In that case, this will be clearly stated before ordering.

3. What is included

The content of the activity or transportation service is stated in the product description.

Only services that are explicitly specified are included, for example:

  • private or shared transportation
  • driver
  • fuel and tolls
  • boat transport where indicated

Not included, unless otherwise stated:

  • tips for driver or crew
  • extra waiting time
  • personal expenses

4. Changes and adaptations

Time, route, vehicle or order may be adjusted as a result of:

  • traffic conditions
  • weather
  • local conditions
  • safety assessments

Such changes do not normally give rise to a right to a refund , as long as the main content of the service is maintained.

5. Cancellation by the customer

Unless otherwise specified, the following applies:

  • Cancellation more than 72 hours before start : full refund
  • Cancellation less than 72 hours before start : no refund
  • No-show: no refund

For certain transport services (e.g. boat, speedboat or special transport) stricter conditions may apply.

6. Cancellation or change by the supplier

The provider may cancel or change the service if:

  • weather or sea conditions make implementation irresponsible
  • technical conditions arise
  • unforeseen events beyond the supplier's control occur

Upon cancellation, the customer will normally receive:

  • full refund, or
  • offer of a new date, or
  • equivalent alternative service

ReadySetIsland AS is not responsible for indirect costs resulting from cancellation.

7. Transport – special conditions

7.1 General information about transport

Transport services include, among others:

  • private driver
  • shared transportation
  • transfer to/from airport
  • boat and speedboat transport

Transportation is carried out by local drivers and operators with the necessary permits.

7.2 Meeting time and pick-up location

The customer is responsible for:

  • be ready at the agreed time
  • provide correct pickup address
  • be available at the telephone number provided

Delays or incorrect address may result in:

  • shortened transportation
  • service interruption
  • no refund

7.3 Waiting time

The included waiting time is specified in the product description.

Extra waiting time can:

  • lead to a shortened route

7.4 Luggage and equipment

The customer is responsible for:

  • state any special needs for luggage or equipment
  • ensure that the amount of luggage matches the vehicle ordered

Overload can lead to:

  • denied transportation
  • need for additional vehicles (for an additional fee)

7.5 Boat and sea transport

In the case of boat transport, the following also applies:

  • weather and sea conditions may lead to changes
  • use of life jackets (where required)
  • the supplier's safety instructions must be followed

No refunds will be given for cancellations due to safety reasons.

8. Health, Safety and Responsibility

Participation is at your own risk .

The customer is obliged to:

  • assess your own health
  • follow all safety instructions
  • Be careful during transport and activities

The customer may be denied participation without refund if safety is compromised.

9. Insurance

The customer is responsible for having valid travel insurance that covers:

  • transportation
  • activities
  • accidents
  • baggage

10. Limitation of Liability

ReadySetIsland AS is not responsible for:

  • delays due to traffic, weather or technical conditions
  • loss or damage to luggage
  • personal injuries that occur during transportation performed by a local supplier

11. Complaints and claims

Any deficiencies must be reported:

  • immediately to the driver/operator
  • then to ReadySetIsland AS

Failure to file a complaint may result in loss of rights.

🔹 Appendix – Partner Terms

ReadySetIsland AS uses local partners to implement activities, excursions, transportation and other travel services in Bali and nearby destinations.

When purchasing products or services via ReadySetIsland, the customer accepts that the individual partner's own terms, security rules and cancellation conditions may apply .

If the partner's terms are stricter or more restrictive than ReadySetIsland AS's general terms, the partner's terms will take precedence for the service in question.

ReadySetIsland AS is obliged to inform the customer of such special terms and conditions before ordering or as soon as is practically possible , and these terms and conditions will then be considered part of the agreement between the customer and ReadySetIsland AS.
