Our partners – who are they?

We work with small and medium-sized, family-owned businesses and professional guides who hold local licences and approvals, speak English and are used to international guests, have many years of experience in their field, and prioritise safety, service and responsible tourism.

Our partners include local guides in Ubud and Nusa Penida with in-depth knowledge of culture, nature and history; activity providers for rafting, ATV, surfing and snorkelling; hand-picked hotels and boutique stays focused on comfort, location and atmosphere; transport partners with experienced drivers and well-maintained cars; and workshops and classes in cooking, crafts and culture.

Quality assurance – our process

Before we offer an activity or partner on our website, we test the experience ourselves or through local contacts, review safety routines and facilities, agree clear expectations for quality and service, and follow up with regular evaluations and feedback. Experiences that don’t meet the standard are removed.
