Thailand is generally a bit cheaper for street food and simple transportation. Bali, on the other hand, offers better value for money when it comes to accommodation and experiences — especially for couples and families who want something extra.

This is where Bali clearly stands out. Private villas with pools for 800–2,000 NOK per night are standard in Bali — something that is difficult to find at the same price in Thailand.
