Bali is the world's most romantic travel destination—and we're not just saying that because we've lived there. We're saying it because we've seen it with our own eyes, time after time, through Norwegian couples who have chosen Bali for their honeymoon and returned home with stories and photos that exceeded all their expectations.
One of these stories is Hans-Petter and Synne's. See our Instagram post about their honeymoon.
Hans-Petter and Synne
Hans-Petter and Synne contacted us with one clear message: they wanted a honeymoon that didn't feel like a typical package tour. They wanted something authentic, personal, and something they could look back on and say, "that was exactly us."
We put together a 12-day trip through Uluwatu, Ubud, and Nusa Lembongan—tailored down to the smallest detail. 5-star hotel in Uluwatu, sunrise on Mount Batur, sunset cruise and snorkeling with a catamaran in Nusa Lembongan.
"We felt very well taken care of and can highly recommend ReadySetIsland." — Synne
That's what we work for.
We tailor honeymoons for Norwegian couples — with local knowledge, Norwegian service, and experiences you'll never forget.

Why Bali is perfect for a honeymoon
The Maldives are beautiful, Santorini is picturesque, and Paris is romantic—but Bali is something else entirely. The island combines luxury, nature, culture, adventure, and tranquility all in one place. And at a fraction of the cost of the Maldives. Private villas with infinity pools from 800 NOK per night. Dramatic sunsets from the Uluwatu cliffs. Snorkeling with manta rays, sunrise volcano hikes, and exclusive spa treatments at local prices. And perhaps most importantly: Bali is a place where you can choose your own pace—some days filled with experiences, other days by the pool doing nothing.
The best destinations
Uluwatu is the start of the perfect honeymoon. Nothing beats the sunset from the cliffs—70 meters above sea level, with the Kecak dance in the background and the Indian Ocean before you. Spectacular, exclusive, and utterly romantic.
Ubud is the perfect contrast. Rice fields, jungle, and temples—a world of peace and culture. A morning cycling through the rice fields, an afternoon at the spa, and a romantic candlelit dinner is a day hard to beat. For those who want a sunrise on Mount Batur, Ubud is the natural starting point.
Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan—no honeymoon in Bali is complete without a few days on one of the neighboring islands. The island hopping tour includes a fast boat to Nusa Penida and the Gili Islands—perfect for couples who want to end their trip with turquoise waters and no obligations.
What does a honeymoon to Bali cost?
Bali is one of the world's best destinations for price and quality. For a complete luxury honeymoon, we're talking about 60,000–90,000 NOK for two—far more affordable than equivalent luxury in the Maldives or Tuscany. See our luxury package for inspiration.

Our best tips
Book a private villa instead of a hotel room—a private pool and terrace are completely different from a shared hotel pool. Include one private dinner, on the beach, by the pool, or on a cliff. Don't overschedule your program; the best moments happen when it's just the two of you, without an agenda. Book a private driver for the freedom to stop wherever and whenever you want. Bring your wedding ring—Bali's temples, beaches, and sunsets offer endless possibilities for the perfect picture. If you travel during the dry season (April–October), you'll get the best weather and most sun.
